“Piggybank” – Chronicles From the Morning After

Use Soap’s Mesmerizing New Song

Swedish rock band Use Soap is set to release its latest single, “Piggybank,” on August 30th. The song, filled with enthralling melodies and surreal lyrics, delves into the uncertainty and discomfort that follow a distorted state of mind.

With its captivating, country-like acoustic guitar intro and its contrasting, electrifying second section, the song takes the listener on a journey mirroring the chaotic and hazy aftermath of a severe hangover.

Written by David Jakobsson and produced, mixed, and mastered by Petter Lithvall at Gothenburg’s Stigbergsstudio, “Piggybank” represents a new step in the band’s creative journey. It introduces a drop-D tuned guitar alongside brass and harmonica sounds, crafting a contrasting, more reflective sound compared to the band’s previous work.

Use Soap creates music through spontaneous creative bursts, drawing inspiration from numerous sources to create immersive sonic experiences that captivate rock fans of all eras.

Since signing with Rexius Records in 2021, the band has released various singles over the past three years, showcasing their rich creativity and lyrical depth.

Don’t miss the release of “Piggybank” and the B-side “Dabble” on August 30th, and immerse yourself in Use Soap’s versatile sound.
