“Don’t Let Me Down” – Reimagining a Pop Anthem
Ark The Storm’s Electrifying New Release
American metalcore duo Ark The Storm is set to release their exciting cover of The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” on October 4th. Echoing the sounds of bands like Monuments, Periphery, and Veil of Maya, this powerful version maintains the expressive sound of the original while adding an intense metal twist.
Staying true to the song’s essence, Ark The Storm showcases their musical talents in this cover. The song’s clear similarities to the flow and energy of metalcore allowed the band to find their own voice within the track, as they relay, “It gave us a good challenge to work on something that had so much potential to be transposed into another format. We really loved working on this.”
Ark The Storm has been a force in the metalcore scene since their debut in 2012. The duo’s creative process, shaped by their long-distance collaboration, shines through as they craft songs that reflect on the most meaningful aspects of life.
After releasing three EPs, the band signed with Rexius Records in 2022, marking an exciting new chapter in their journey.
