whAte is a UK-based progressive punk band that channels the fire of their rage to create empowering music. Inspired by multiple influences ranging from classical composers like Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone, rock bands like Muse, and punk bands like Green Day and Sum 41, the band has cultivated a unique sound that is meant to urge listeners to act now.

whAte’s lyrics are a cry for urgent change, as the injustices of this world fuel their desire to shout about the pressing transformations needed in our society and inner selves. Their sound channels the rebellious side of punk with the diverse musical influences of its members, crafting an authentic and new style they baptized as “progressive punk”.

The band was founded in Italy by its mastermind, Dave Dreamer, who acts as lead singer, guitarist, composer, and violinist. Its music is a perfect cocktail of ideas about revolution blended with Dave’s talent and love for classical music, along with the sophistication of genres like blues and prog rock.

After releasing their debut single, “Can’t breathe anymore” in 2022, whAte teamed up with Rexius Records in 2023. Together, they’re ready to continue amplifying the band’s important messages and sophisticated sound.
