A Healing Journey in Swedish Rock

Mozzit is a Swedish rock band that harnesses music as a means of healing and profound self-expression.  Drawing inspiration from bands like Muse and Kent, their songs provide a refuge amidst chaos, delivering solace and introspection during moments of crisis.

Founded by Johan Skough and Hans Gunnarsson, the band originated as a vital therapeutic outlet for Johan during a difficult period marked by mental health issues.

Mozzit’s music taps into Johan’s personal stories, engaging with deep emotional experiences to create songs centered on themes of self-discovery, love, and inner peace. Their creative process, marked by reflective songwriting, is an ongoing journey of personal catharsis, producing music that uplifts and empowers listeners to embark on their own paths toward healing.

With their debut EP “Den gamla stenen” released in 2022, Mozzit navigated dark and existential themes, transforming them into uplifting musical journeys of hope and resilience. In 2024, they signed with Rexius Records, poised to continue sharing their therapeutic sound and artistic authenticity with the world.
