Marcus Ekroth is a musician and composer from Sweden who creates instrumental music in various styles and genres but mainly jazz, pop or folk music – often in an surprising and eclectic blend between them and with room for improvisation. Allthough the musical styles and arrangements differ between the tunes, the guitar often has a central role in them, in the tradition of artists like Janne Schaffer, Björn Olsson, Daniel Ögren and Frank Zappa.
