Swedish singer/songwriter Elias Macy creates music that connects with the wider range of emotions of the human experience. Influenced by artists like Gavin Degraw and John Mayer, his style reflects the path of someone who has gained a unique perspective on life.


On his relationship with music, the artist relays, “I started to play the guitar at a very young age because of my brother Adam, but the truth is that I didn’t like it that much”. His passion would flourish years later, “around late 2015 I started getting into music again for real”.


Driven by his newfound love of music and a strong desire to improve, Macy sought to find his voice through an arduous process of self-development, “I started to work on my voice, started to learn to write lyrics and I also played the guitar until my fingers bled”.


The years of self-learning and work would lead him to sign for Gothenburg-based Rexius Records in 2018. After releasing a demo called “What You Want”, the singer decided to take a hiatus and continue to develop his craft. In 2022 he released his debut single “Happy I Met You”.


With a continuous desire to develop, the singer is now preparing for multiple releases in 2022 and 2023.
