David Blair is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Germany who creates music that reflects his wholesome and positive perspective on life. Inspired by artists like John Mayer and Jason Mraz, his music invites listeners on a journey of introspection, truth-seeking, and togetherness.

With over 1000 concerts in more than 20 countries, David’s passion for live performances has defined his musical career. His trajectory has been characterized by constant artistic evolution, starting from his early days in an alternative rock band and transitioning into a solo career, honing his skills as a songwriter and unveiling his charismatic stage persona along the way.

His songs explore a wide range of emotions, always rooted in profound and sincere reflection. His creative voice shines in the realm of acoustic sounds, highlighting intimate vocals and lyrics inspired by the feeling of hope, experiences of healing pain, and the struggle for truth.

David’s career highlights include reaching the finals in the 2013 USA Song Contest and Great American Song Contest, where he also earned honor awards in 2005, 2009, and 2012. His unique arrangement of the Backstreet Boys’ ‘As Long As You Love Me’ got him into the semi-finals of The Voice of Germany 2017 and garnered an extra 5 million views on YouTube after the initial airing on TV. He has also appeared on Canada’s Got Talent and been featured on ZDF Morgen Magazine in Germany along with being a semi-finalist in the 2015 International Songwriting Contest, among other accolades.

Committed to maintaining a strong connection with his audience, he has fostered a community among his fans through his “hug club,” where they find a shared sense of connection.

Since his 2007 debut, David Blair has released six albums, with singles like “Alone Together” and “This Is The Soundtrack” reaching the top 100 on radio and top 10 digital downloads in Germany. In 2019, he signed with Rexius Records, eager to share more of his uplifting music with the world.
