Commuter is an American indie-electronic duo that exudes passion and commitment to music. Consisting of Blake Milliser and Jake Klyn, their catchy hooks and emotional lyrics create a sonic landscape that is both fun and open-hearted.

“Jake was living up in Phoenix and Blake lives down in Tucson so no matter what, we were always driving to each other!”, they confess, reflecting on the meaning behind the group’s name. “We think the name represents us doing whatever it takes to make music with each other and to make an effort to always see each other.”

Inspired by artists like ODESZA and RÜFÜS DU SOL, their storytelling is imbued with a mixture of personal experiences and bits of fiction, shaping tales of relationships, love, and everything that comes with it.

Their creative process is nurtured by the synergy and development of their musical ideas, expanding them to create songs that are bound to uplift their listeners and make them dance, forgetting their problems along the way.

Commuter has released three singles since its inception, showcasing their musical evolution and versatility. In 2022, they signed with Rexius Records.
