The Dead And Living was founded on a Sunday in Karlstad, Sweden in 2007. The debut album DECADANCE and sequal THE LAST MEN STANDING were both recognised among the best albums of 2010 and 2013 in Close Up Magazine and Sweden Rock Magazine.

During their first decennium, The Dead And Living have toured throughout Scandinavia and Europe, with stops at Sweden Rock Festival, Arvikafestivalen, Peace And Love, Putte I Parken and as support for Deathstars, Chrome Division and Marky Ramones Blitzkrieg. Rock is Dead.. and it has never sounded better!

In 2019 the bands third full-length-album THE AUTHOR’S CURSE was financed in less than 24 hours via Kicksstarter. Among great reviews and coverage in magazines such as Sweden Rock Magazine, the album held first position by swedish critics at KRITIKER.SE during the time following the release.

Fresh out of the 2020 pandemic, its aftermath and what seems like end times of humanity, The Dead And Living are back with new material 2024/2025.
