“Piece Of Me” – Facing Love’s Corruption
Distorted Views’ Electrifying New Single
Australian nu metal band Distorted Views is set to release their powerful new single, “Piece Of Me,” on October 18th. Drawing inspiration from bands like Northlane and Bring Me the Horizon, this intense song delves into the dark side of love through its emotionally charged lyrics.
“Piece Of Me” unveils the pain of deception and explores how love can drive human beings to act irrationally. Inspired by personal experiences, the track marks a departure from the band’s usual political themes, diving deep into raw, heartfelt emotions.
Co-written by the band alongside Brodie Fletcher and Gabriel Jassim, who also feature on the track, “Piece Of Me” captures the moment when one realizes their mind and behavior have been tainted by negative emotions, signaling the need for change. The single was recorded in the band’s home studios and remotely co-produced by Cameron Darcy and Brodie Fletcher.
Distorted Views creates an electrifying sound that blends elements of genres like heavy metal, hip-hop, and electronic music, fostering independent thought and challenging societal norms with their lyrics. Since their 2021 debut, the band has stormed the Australian metal scene with their dynamic performances and thought-provoking lyrics.
In 2023, they signed with Rexius Records, poised to continue shattering false narratives and pushing the boundaries of heavy music.
Don’t miss the release of “Piece Of Me” on October 18th, and immerse yourself in its raw emotional atmosphere.
