“Alone Together (Driving Remix)” – Remembering What Unites Us
David Blair’s Captivating New Song
Canadian Singer-Songwriter David Blair is set to release his latest single “Alone Together (Driving Remix)” on May 17th, a reinvention of a track he originally released in 2012. Echoing the reflective style of artists like Forest Blakk and Rhys Lewis, the song’s touching lyrics delve into the universality of solitude.
Inspired by a personal experience, the song provides a universal perspective on the unique nature of each human life, understanding the loneliness of every individual existence as the unifying element that binds us all together. We are all alone, yet together.
Written by David Blair and co-produced by him along with Alexander Asp, “Alone Together (Driving Remix)” ventures into new sonic landscapes, going beyond David’s classic acoustic sound in favor of more electronic approaches. The song was recorded in Gothenburg and Berlin, in the years 2019 and 2023, with Moritz Limmer collaborating on its mixing and mastering.
David Blair’s talent as a songwriter has gained him important accolades such as reaching the finals in the 2013 USA Song Contest and Great American Song Contest, as well as reaching the semifinals in the 2015 International Songwriting Contest, among others. His unique arrangement of the Backstreet Boys’ ‘As Long As You Love Me’ got him into the semi-finals of The Voice of Germany 2017 and garnered an extra 5 million views on YouTube after the initial airing on TV. He has also appeared on Canada’s Got Talent.
Since his 2007 debut, David Blair has released six albums, captivating audiences with his charismatic stage persona and heartfelt storytelling. In 2019, he signed with Rexius Records, eager to share more of his music with the world. Don’t miss the release of “Alone Together (Driving Remix)” on May 17th, an invitation to reflect on our joint humanity.
